Rajaselvam Agro Foods., the proud owner of Thenchittu Brand Rice, was established in 1980 by Mr. K.R. Sekar, our visionary Chairman and Managing Director. As a first- generation entrepreneur, Mr. Sekar has over 40 years of experience in the rice industry, leading the company to become one of the most respected manufacturers of rice in South India.
What began as Rajaselvam Modern Rice Mill on a modest 1-acre plot in Pudhuvayal, a small town near Karaikudi in South Tamil Nadu, with a production capacity of just 4 tons/day, has grown into a state-of-the-art, fully automated milling facility with a capacity of 30 tons/day. This remarkable journey is a testament to Mr. Sekar’s dedication and the expertise of his sons Mr.S.Kannan and Mr.S.Selvam, who have played a vital role in revolutionizing rice milling in the region.
